Flag This: 5 Ways to Celebrate the Fourth of July in Boston

The biggest holiday of the summer is almost here and there are a lot of ways to celebrate.  From lively, late-night festivities on July 3rd to classic, laid-back gatherings on the 4th, these locations are pulling out all the stops for Independence Day 2019.

July 3rd

Six String Grill & Stage
On Wednesday, a night full of dancing, live music, and fireworks is promised at Stars, Stripes & Six String w/ Whiskey 6.  Aptly located at Patriot Place in Foxborough, Six String Grill & Stage will be hosting line dancing from 7-9pm, followed by a viewing of the Patriot Place Fireworks Spectacular at 9:30pm.  To top it all off, country band Whiskey 6 will close out the night with a live performance at 9:45pm.  Find tickets here.

The Harp
Closer to the heart of Boston, The Harp is kicking off the long weekend with their annual Fireball & Fireworks extravaganza at 9pm.  With a DJ, vibrant atmosphere, and plenty of giveaways, this celebration is guaranteed to be a blast—plus, it’s right across from TD Garden and North Station.  RSVP here for free entry before 10pm.

Ned Devine’s Irish Pub
Over at Ned Devine’s Irish Pub, you can celebrate America’s origins in the “Cradle of Liberty” itself, Faneuil Hall.  Starting at 9pm, their 8th Annual Independence Bash will feature live music from Saved by the 90s, giveaways, and a selection of Sam Specialty Craft Brews & Classics.  RSVP here for free entry before 10pm.

July 4th

Anthem Kitchen & Bar
If you prefer to take the day to explore Boston’s history, look no further than our other Faneuil Hall location, Anthem Kitchen & Bar, and enjoy their  All-American Brunch on July 4th.  From 9am-3pm, the restaurant will be serving specials like Red, White & Blue Pancakes, in addition to their classic American fare.  Located along the Freedom Trail with views of historic landmarks like the Old South Meeting House, there’s no better destination for those who want to celebrate Independence Day with a deeper dive into the story behind it.  Reserve your table here.

Glass House
Before the holiday winds down, Glass House is hosting a 4th of July Lobster Bake from 5pm-10pm, complete with classic Lobster Bake foods, live music, and a variety of lawn games.  Just a short walk away from a spectacular view of the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular, Glass House’s patio is the perfect place to celebrate independence with friends and family.  Find tickets here.
